All flaming aside - he is the HEAD coach - not the offensive head coordinator. That is an executive (and well paid) position. He is to blame for both sides of the ball. Period. If the defense greatly improves, give him the credit. If it sucks or is only mid-tier, give him the blame.

I personally think he'll be mid-to-upper tier, always up and down between those levels. Never lower though. He'll get better in time, epsecially when Saban retires.
