Potential to improve is one thing, but I don't see any reasonable, rational, logical reason why anybody would proclaim that as of right now in summer of 2015 that fournette is the better back. He isn't.

You don't see any reason? Really? How about the efficiency with which both teams passed the ball. You might not agree, and that is fine, but you have to admit that on that basis alone one could argue that Fournette is better. It would be the argument of them swapping teams. Just a thought.

Huston Mason was our starter this year. I get that he isn't as bad as what LSU had but he wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire. Everyone with a brain knew that Georgia was going to pound the rock....early and often.

Yeah, really. It's pretty black and white.

this is such a skewed argument that can be altered to fit any argument.

Team has elite QB-

Oh well their RB was only good because defenses respected the pass and couldnt' bring more people in teh box

Oh well their RB was only average because they didn't need him to run that much

Team has awful QB-

Oh well their RB only put up great numbers because he was carrying the offense and he got most of the workload

Oh well their RB put up average numbers because with no passing threat defenses could key into the run game most of the time

Regardless of QB situation, you can slant it to make a RB look as good or bad as you want.

As to this point, this year we're breaking in a brand new QB who based on previous data will throw quite a few interceptions. QB play for both teams should be about on par this year, roughly.
