Senior Foster didn't make high enough grades in only 6 hours of classes to qualify for his major. Yet somehow his low grades for SR level classes in sports management can go towards another major that isn't sports management. How is that possible? Sounds very community collegeish.

He was never ineligible. Deal with it.

He was. Maybe he shouldn't have been, but he was. Why did he have to appeal if he wasn't?

Mainieri misunderstood the rule. NCAA said he was never ineligible.

It's only in there to get athletes reinstated. I wouldn't look too far into academic eligibility rules for LSU if I were a tamu fan. Honestly I probably wouldn't even post on this site if I were a tamu fan due to sheer embarrassment.

Seriously. Good for Foster for being able to finish his career at LSU, but that has got to be embarrassing as hell. SR level classes aren't meant to fail you. They're group work, papers, and should be easy after you make it through the first 2 years of fail out classes. And it was only 6 hours. That's 2 classes.

Where'd you go to school? That sounds very community collegeish

The Harvard on the Brazos. My major (ID) was the #1 program in the nation.

Your turn.

I was about to post this

The OP's reading comprehension level must be that of a 3rd or 4th grader. He completely misunderstood Coach Mainieri's explanation of why Foster is now eligible.
