Again, this is the crap our "fans" are spreading. Fans like you. Were Turtle Jackson, E'torrion Wilridge, Derek Ogbeide, and Michael Edwards all misses too? Did we not put effort into recruiting those guys? Did they simply fall into our laps? What about Harris and Crump for 2016? Did we whiff on those guys? When the beloved football team misses on a target, do you start complaining about a lack of effort in recruiting?

Glad to have those guys, but UGA hasn't signed a top 100 player since KCP in 2011. Harris is close so maybe that will change in 2016.

I'm not faulting Fox's effort. I'm faulting the results. I criticize the football program when it's warranted. They just miss a hell of a lot lower %.

I know UGA's basketball program isn't a power and don't expect them to recruit like one. They should recruit at least a little better than they currently are though imo if only due to location. The talent level isn't high enough for UGA to take the next step as a basketball program.

Those guys we are landing are ok players, but it's frustrating losing out on so many guys we want when teams like LSU, A&M, and Auburn are getting some really solid players. I really like Fox and want him here for a really long time. The only change I've said repeatedly I would make is going out and spending money on an ace recruiter. Basketball recruiting matters more so than any other sport IMO.
