Players of 2015
Is this list the best players from last year, or a list of where people project these players to be in this upcoming season?

I expect Mayo, Foster, and Peyton will all be picked. Not sure if we'll have anyone else.

I think it's just a list of the best players currently in the league as voted on by the players. I'm not sure the year has any significance, other than the "edition" of it.

Best players from last season....

For LSU, I think we'll see OBJ and Patrick Peterson for sure. Maybes for Andrew Whitworth, Eric Reid, Tyrann Mathieu, Joseph Barksdale, Jeremy Hill.

How he didn't win DROY is beyond me. Impressive for a Rookie to be in the NFL top 100. I expect him to be in the top 50 next year.

I wonder if OBJ and Hill will make the list? They both had great rookie seasons.

For LSU
btw I was really happy with Landry last year. I hope he can continue to improve. Miami's corp of Landry, Parker, Stills, and Jennings should be pretty formidable.

OBJ certainly will. Hill could be a tossup, but I think he should.

I think Hill will be on the list because they interviewed him for the CJ Moseley selection.

No way in hell there are 99 players better than Cobb based on 2014. He had 1300 yarda and 12 TDs.

Eddie Lacy, Marcel Dareus, Evan Mathis, Donta Hightower, and D.J Fluker possibly for Alabama?
Last year it was:
62. Marcel Dareus
88. Evan Mathis
90. Eddie Lacy
Edit: Julio Jones will be back on the list. He wasn't eligible for the 2014 list because he was injured in 2013.

He should be IMO. He's 8th in yards, tied for 3rd in TDs, and tied for 2nd among RBs in YPC, as a rookie splitting time with another back.
He does need to cut down the fumbles though.
ETA: Should be Peterson, OBJ, Williams, and Hill for LSU.
