Congrats putting up yards on our defense. Auburn still got beat down.
?

Do you mean yards and points? Alabama hardly beat Auburn down, winning the game by 11 points. Which, in that game, is a play or two away from a lead or narrow point gap. Auburn's defense sucked and couldn't stop anything last year, yeah, but Gus Malzahn has exposed Alabama's defense two years in a row and 3 out of the last 4 years they have played (2010, 2013 and 2014). A hire like Will Muschamp will theroetically improve our defense and should give us a better chance to win.

It was a 19-point deficit up until Auburn got a late meaningless garbage TD with 24 seconds left in the game. Alabama was in total control by the 4th quarter.

You hardly exposed anything in 2010 and 2014 other than inexperience and youth in the secondary. IN 2010, you senior laden team lead by one of the best QB's of all time had to comeback from a 24-point deficit after 2 solid quarter of rape against a defense that struggled mightily in the secondary that year due to an injury to the starting strong safety, mental errors, and breaking in first year starters at corner (Milliner and Dre). In '14, you had two potential NFL WR's goign up against a corner who suffered a torn ACL in spring, was a first year starter (started some in '13, but not all games), and is now moved to safety. The other is a converted WR to DB who's been picked on all year. It wasn't that hard to put up big yards when your DB's are getting beat in simple post routes.

You guys wanna throw out Gus's impressive numbers vs everyone, even when he was a OC, so lets play that with Muschamp vs 'Bama:

2010 vs Muschamp- 263 total yards given up (not bad), 205 rushing yards given up, 4 yards per carry

2011 vs Muschamp- 366 total yards given up, 226 yards rushing, 5.3 yards per carry.

2014 vs Muschamp- 672 total yards given up, 223 yards rushing, 4.3 yards per carry.

And add to the fact that you've lost a good bit up front and your secondary was worse than ours last year. Get ready for another arse pounding like last year
