Is he Better than Tevin Coleman, Ind RB
or Jay Ajayi, Boise St RB

He had a great line at Alabama and great scheme.

These other two rbs had to do more with less.

Just think the Jaguars reached with that pick.

There is a reason the Jacksonville Jaguars are the perennially the worst team in the league.

maybe im wrong I certainly dont think he will be a bust like Trent Richardson.
But the jaguars have way more needs and I feel their were better RB on the board and way more position players of need for a terrible team like the Jags.

In his freshman year this was true. But his sophomore and junior years saw a decline in play at the OL position. Our lack of consistent running game this past year cost us at Ole Miss and against Ohio State.

Eddie Lacy is slow and fat and played behind a great line. Will be a bust.

Behind Wayne Wheeler and Britton Cooper this kid was my favorite Bama player and I say that even though he scored the winning TD on the screen play in TS to win Bama that game.

I mean it's not like we are talking about some average talent that put up numbers in a system. He was a 5 star recruit who was in the starting rotation as a freshman. He has a lot of potential as an NFL HB. What likely made the Jaguars reach on him is that he is excellent in pass protection. He can start day one and they won't have to worry about that aspect.

Yeldon was injured much of his sophomore and junior seasons, FWIW.

A healthy Yeldon is a great running back.

I'd take the Jag management's opinion over yours about what they need...thanks for the 2 cents worth.

If he would have stuck with his Auburn commitment he would have easily had the stats to have been taken in the 1st round. It's sad really

I don't know anything about either of those guys, but they took Yeldon too high.

Slower to the LOS than Richardson, without the power.

TJ Yeldon will quietly go down as one of the best running backs in Alabama history. He probably won't be spoken of as much as other greats because he lacks the iconic plays/performances, but his numbers speak enough. Had he come back for his senior year, he would have all but locked up every career rushing record in Alabama history.

Looks like you struggle with evaluating talent.

the Jags are an arena league football team even the Jets don't take them serious.

Yeldon is a 3rd down back who just got drafted by one of the worst teams in the NFL. Everybody keep their panties on.

Yeldon has vision. He will be better in the NFL than Ingram

Yeldon is hard to evaluate because he had so many nagging injuries his last few years.

He clearly has the potential to be a great back and that's what why he was drafted so high.

His biggest downside to me is ball security. He always seemed to fumble at horrible times on a regular basis.

This is not possible, the committee never had TJ in top 4 or 5. CAP must have been drafted #1.

Yeah and they did it going up against stout d-lines, not that panty-waist crap you get from the SEC with the likes of Ole Miss.
