Petrino by a mile

Has Petrino ever won a championship even as an assistant?

This is a stupid thread, Gus and his HS offense have changed the game.

If Sumlin actually develops some ability to run the ball consistently, I'd put him up there.
But not until.

It's Gussy"s power game that is so scary IMO. Sure, they have some spread concepts in there and misdirection, but in his heart, Gus wants to his teams to pound the rock

Given the potential of their new QB, the talent at WR, and their pretty consultant ability to run well, I think this Auburn team is pretty damned scary.

It wouldn't be a surprise for TAMU to end up the same as well. I just think Sumlin has a bit more to prove at this point.

This is a perfect thread for UF fans to state the obvious.

it was offensive coach stupid if we want to include defense and overall coaching Sumlin and Malzahn aren't in the conversation either.
