I feel like a state flagship university should focus mainly on in state students. What Bama has done is great, but they are doing so with 50% OOS enrollment rate. That is not how I personally want to see LSU grow

I think TOPS does a lot of the ground work for LSU anyways. Lots of students, like myself, could have and wanted to go out of state, but it would be impractical to pay out of state for a degree of equal of less value than what I'm getting at LSU. I don't think increasing OOS by 10% or so would be a horrible strategic move. Plus a lot of LSU alums-prominent ones at that-go out of state due to the lack of white collar jobs
