College Baseball Week 12

We are at Week 12 of the college baseball season and as the postseason approaches, we are starting to get a feel to who the better teams are in college baseball.
How can I not start with the Game of the Century between LSU and Texas A&M. First of all, what an atmosphere for a college baseball game. It had a super regional feel to it. No better place to play college baseball.
Texas A&M had some flaws exposed this weekend, mainly in the bullpen. The Aggies had tremendous success, until this past weekend, in the bullpen. The bullpen was unable to keep the Aggies in the lead and they could not stop the LSU bats. That is the biggest area, in my opinion, that the Aggies need to fix otherwise they won't have a chance if they make it to Omaha. Pitching is the key in the postseason.
Until this past weekend, I was very unsure and uneasy about LSU's pitching. I knew they had talent in that department but just very young talent. The starting pitching was shaky but the relief pitching was pretty good. The defense let the tigers down in Game 3. Defense will have to get better in the defensive department.
Both teams have extraordinary hitting and they just need to keep doing what they are doing there.
Florida had a huge letdown this weekend, losing 2 of 3 to Kentucky at home. I still think this is a very good and dangerous team in the postseason though.
After losing the last two weekends, Vandy came out strong with a huge and must needed sweep over a quality ball club named Missouri. Another very dangerous postseason team.
As always I will post my top 25 and postseason predictions. Enjoy these last few weekends of the regular season and get ready for the best time of college baseball, the postseason.

They gave up like 4 runs in 7 2/3 innings this weekend. Not great but before this weekend we had one of the best bullpens in the country statistically. We were due for some regression in that department IMO. Fielding and starting pitching is still my biggest worry ahead of the bullpen

Texas A&M was exposed last weekend, LSU just piled it on this weekend.
The Aggy staff gave up 20+ runs last weekend.
A&M is a poor fielding team that has a staff that gives too many free passes.

Your arse is so chapped that your team isn't sniffing the top 25

The pen was not stellar. Even after moving our closer to #2 starter we still have on of the best pens in the country statically. One bad weekend doesn't mean it's a weakness. Now defense is a huge weakness. We've seen it all year long.

"Series of the century" was dumb, especially since A&M got shite stomped at home the week before.

Thanks for posting. Have enjoyed reading your picks the past few weeks.

ETA: Don't let the bratty tards on the Tiger Rant discourage you. Those idiots flame everyone who start a thread over there.

Vandy has better pitching than UF. UF not making the finals, not even close. I see Vandy going pretty deep in Omaha. They will win every game 1 matchup.

Congrats you won 1 game by a margin greater than 1 run

Arkansas win 2/3 which is what matters.
Two weeks running now you've been arse hurt over it.

Grasping to a single game. Congrats on your lone win over Arkansas in a three game series.

You just made a dumb statement, I was simply pointing it out. For the children, for America.

Your friend made an even dumber statement, it's equal to saying we shite stomped Arky in football last year.

How about pointing out aTm hasn't won a baseball series in nearly 3 weeks.
Posted on 4/27/15 at 7:55 am to Hawgeye
Well ok except for that whole issue of winning one a week ago
