You realize we can't start an inning after like 6:30 today? So now we possibly won't get a 3rd game in. You only need 5 innings for game to be declared a game. Last night would have been called a game then today we could have gotten a full 9, or close to it this morning.

So since you're ahead playing game 3 is much more important than finishing game 2? Seems reasonable
