So I will concede that based on the metric that an AVERAGE fan cares about, you are correct that LSU is the nicer experience. And both are near the top of the sport.

If that is all I can get out of you I will take it. I think the big screen alone calls for a little more credit than "higher end finishes" (LSU has the 53rd biggest screen in college football, we have the first) but I will take it.

The screens in Tiger Stadium are perfect now. Having obnoxiously big video boards just isn't my thing though. That thing in Dallas and the one at State actually take something away from the experience of being at a game.

Thanks again for a civil conversation.

This thread has got me wanting to check out Kyle Field on a road trip in '16
It's gonna be badass. I think Kyle, BDS and Death Valley are the cream ofthe crop in the SEC. Then again, just about every stadium is nice.

True.

Only others that come close would be the Horseshoe,
Autzen, and maybe Michigan and ND.

Sanford, Neyland, Florida, FSU, Beaver, VT are nice also.

Just unzip pants, whoop it out and get it over with. Your insecurities aside, the best football stadium I've been in is the one where my team won.
Goddamn bunch of drugstore Cowboys here.

USMC Gators, plz. In trying to justify 2008 UGA having a more successful season than 2010 UK or 2010 Tennessee you said:

Sporting News seems to think that A&M has the best facilities:

quote:

"Their stadium is going to be unbelievable – unbelievable man," Hayes said of A&M. "You compare those facilities, at Texas A&M, to what everybody thinks is so great at Florida, Florida compared to Texas A&M is a joke right now. Florida looks like a high school compared to Texas A&M.”

Chadd Scott out of Jacksonville agrees with Hayes' take and lists the Aggies' facilities as the most impressive in the nation.

"Texas A&M is committed to having the best portfolio of arenas, practice gyms, training rooms, locker rooms and weight rooms for its student-athletes in the nation – bar none," Scott said.

I don't get why people think Florida is an it place. They have history on their side, but other than that, their spending on facilities etc... is no very SEC-ish.

Do LSU fans really think Tiger Stadium is nice? I mean I know they are biased but some of them have to think it's a dump.

The scene...new Texas A&M president Michael Young's Inaugural address:

"...and as far as football goes, I have a plan to improve the fan experience IMMENSELY!

..cheering from Aggie fans...

"We're gonna make the stands stronger! No more erector set construction!"

...more cheering from Aggie fans...

"We're going to add 22 suites and 1,700 club seats!"

...wild cheering from Aggie fans...

"We're going to make it even easier for our fans to get to and from their seats, and get to restrooms and concessions!"

...ecstatic cheers from Aggie fans...

"And we're going to improve sight lines for every seat in the stadium"

...Aggie fans go wild....

"And we're going to do all that by..."

...Aggie fans wait with bated breath...

"By tearing down Kyle Field...."

......stunned silence...

"And building an exact replica of LSU's Tiger Stadium in it's place!"

...Aggie fans in shock...

President Young looks around...

"What?"

I'll give you credit for the effort, but every Aggie says thanks but no thanks. We are more happy with our nicer stadium.
