Bama fans should just get over it.
And stop watching Finebaum and old geezers like TennStud.

Some Bama folks will never understand that we are in the midst one of the best runs in Bama football history - frick the past and ENJOY the present!

And simultaneously we are having the worst run in Tennessee football history.

What more could Bama fans want? Honestly? I mean besides Auburn going on probation?

Pretty much this - but don't FORGET the past. To do so could invite a return to the DuBose days.

quote:

Finebaum used to have Jim Donnan on his show a few years ago. Don't know if he still does or not. Donnan stated on Finebaum's show that a group of SEC coaches told DuBose to his face they were going to turn him if he didn't do something to get Bama's recruiting under control. I actually heard Donnan make that statement live

Just when I'm sure there's no hope, you go and make a relatively decent post.

I've never heard this story, but I don't doubt it at all. DuBose is literally the worst (yes, including Ears) to walk the Bama sidelines. It would be easy to blame it on lack of experience as a head coach, but the truth is he set the tone himself with his own personal behavior.

I'll never have any love for Fulmer but I can't blame him for Bama's problems during that stretch. If DuBose/Bama had been doing anything close to what they should have been doing, there wouldn't have been anything for Fulmer to use as ammunition.
