"ALL OF YOU over the age of 35." That includes all these dumb as dirt old turds:
Every NBA head coach
Every NFL head coach
Every CEO of the S&P 500 sans Mark Zuckerberg
Every person who is eligible to run for president of the United States, etc., etc.
The list goes on and on. In fact, the national median age is a decrepit 37.2 years. Disgusting.
Please continue to enlighten all these stupid, out of touch, Lincoln Town Car driving, Metamucil drinking, adult diaper wearing, over 35 year old boobs about how the world works. I am sure none of them are as in touch with society as you are. What a bunch of senile, rotten old idiots.

If you want to get technical the N word is actually derived from the word Negus which is Ethiopian. It means kings. However everything was shuffled around here in America and it was given a negative meaning

Somebody found the Googles! Interesting trivia, but the origin of the word is almost completely irrelevant to its current meaning. Charles Manson was once a cute, cuddly little baby. And that swastika carved in his formerly adorable forehead was a symbol of peace and well being for many cultures over many centuries. There are countless examples of highly offensive words, sayings and symbols that at one time had a very different meaning. And if you plan to use any of them literally in casual conversation I'd suggest you carry a large dictionary and a small firearm.

So when is it acceptable? Seems like there are boundaries and times when it's ok to be said then, or is it only ok in songs?

I'm over the age of 35 and the problem I have is that all these groups fight so hard to be EQUAL. Yet when it comes to racial slurs or the use of them it's a one way street and these same groups say,"it's ok for us but not you".
Ever heard the word hypocrisy???? That's why most of these race or sex groups are laughable to us old guys and gals. They want everyone else to walk an EQUAL line yet it doesn't apply to them. They hurt themselves in the publics eyes way more than some backwoods white racist good ole boy ever will.

Not over 35, but I'm still posting.
I know there is a double standard with the word and it is essentially "ok" for Harrison to have used it solely based on the color of his skin. It's still a racial slur though. I don't care if Frank the Tank forgave him, if he came out and apologized, or if MLK himself sat up from the grave and said "I'll allow it."
If Kominsky had said it, the story who have overshadowed every aspect of the game last night and there would be groups calling for him to have not played, been suspended, expelled, etc...A racial slur is a racial slur no matter what color of the person who said it
