Not really. Saban is never going to say "I/we made a mistake."

He answered everyone's questions fairly. He only refused to answer the one "tell us about your vetting process with recruits" because that's a dumb question.

Even though he was clearly annoyed, he didn't snap at anyone, he took basically what seemed like 8 or 9 questions in a row, all about the same thing without cutting it off.

Finebaum expressed disappointment after the presser, saying he might have made Bama look even worse, but he didn't explain why. I'm not sure what Finebaum is talking about.

Every year, kids do stupid crap, and often violent crap, and get kicked off teams. Media doesn't expect the coach to apologize for recruiting him.

And as far as the fact Taylor had previous violence, Saban plainly admitted they learned something from this.

Like another one of you said a few pages back.... in a week or two this will all be water under the bridge and there will be some all new outrage somewhere else.

In the end, this will always go back to being another case of Richt losing control, where all of this spawned. This may end up being the greatest loss of control in Richt's career, when it's all said and done.
