No, no, no, you have it all wrong. The media told me that Tbird will never be as successful as me bc he's African American and my white privilege holds him down.
I tried to argue with them that tbird seemed to be an upstanding, articulate, intelligent, and hardworking guy that is pretty successful and they explained to me how wrong I was and how my white privilege gave him no chance

I know that throughout my marriage I have felt like a divorce would be the sanest, surest option toward my pursuit of happiness. Consideration of our children has been the bridge over the difficult waters. You just know inherently that the kids are better off with both parents in one home. You don't need science or syllogisms. We all just know it.
