Obscenely early, but for your viewing pleasure: LINK ]Link
As of now, they have The Great State hosting four Regionals.

• Four national seeds from the SEC? It’s unlikely, as they’ll beat up on each other over the next nine weeks, but at this point it’s too hard to deny Louisiana State, Florida and Vanderbilt—the teams we see as the most talented—along with 22-0 Texas A&M. The Aggies do feel like the most vulnerable, given the injuries to their rotation, but the majority of their most challenging SEC series will be at home, with the exception of a trip to LSU in late April.

Which is as it should be, though as a longtime expatriot I get really tired of ya'll's crap sometimes.
But DAMN, I pity the fools who have to play in Lubbock! Hopefully the outfielders will be wearing body armor.

Oh no. Don't start this with the baseball team. Last time I indulged myself in brackets and seedings, A&M basketball killed my tournament boner.

I like BA the most of all of them just because they rank on how good they think a team is, not pure record which is a better predictor of the future. But they are crazy if they think the committee gives the SEC 4 national seeds.
We are competing for a national seed with LSU, Vandy, SC, UF, and probably Rice. For political reasons, I doubt the state gets 3 and TCU is probably a mortal lock since no other Big 12 team is really in contention (though we did get screwed in that same spot several years in a row). Anyway, every time those teams lose is good for us imo.
I also don't think they'll give Texas 4 regionals. It's completely unfair but too many traveling squads if you do that. If a squad like Tech is on the bubble (and they aren't as good as everyone seems to think this year), they won't get it. Zero bus trips (not even sure DBU qualifies) there so it's an ultra-expensive regional. The NCAA is about money.

Is Rice even good enough to get a host seed? How good is Conference USA?

CUSA is horrible. Rice is like Duke though. The committee finds a new way to give them a good seed every year.
They schedule up early, crush the weak sisters late, and end up with a great record with a decent SOS and having won like 30 of their final 32. More than once the committee used our head-to-head game, a single midweek game, as the difference between us as to who got a seed.
Hell, Boyd's world made them an underdog to the sips in their own regional last year.

I don't think we could ask for a better match up. tu is a meh #2 seed and it gives us a chance at revenge from last year. Then TTU or DBU in the super.

Tech got hot at the right time last year and they're still riding that as far as reputation
