Didn't Texas A&M just tear down the last bit of Kyle field?

There is none of the original stadium left, despite the fact that we have been playing on that spot continuously for a long, long time. The top two decks on the student side are the oldest part of the existing structure, but I don't remember when they were added. Since they are self-supporting, they were left standing while the bottom deck on the student side was demolished and rebuilt last offseason.

Basically, the entire structure is modern except the top two decks on the student side, and they have have been extensively renovated.

East second deck was started in '67 and finished in '68. East third deck was started in '79 and finished in '80. The north endzone was constructed in 1998-99. Football has been played on Kyle Field since about 1904. The old horseshoe that was built in 1927-29, is now all gone.
