300 rounds of remanufactured ammo

So I went to Cabela's to get ammo for my brand new Glock 23C and bought a bulk box of 300 rounds. I get home and open the box and there are 6 boxes of 50 inside. The individual boxes clearly say Remanufactured but the outer cardboard box does not. Using the ammo voids the Glock's warranty and Cabela's does not do returns for ammo
Now what...

Now what...

Use it in a different gun?

Sell it on the black market.
But seriously, contact Cabela's corporate and let them know of the situation and how upset you are. They might (probably) won't do anything, but if they get enough phone calls then they might change that policy.

Sell the ammo on gunbroker?

I thought the word 'bulk' implies lesser quality ammo.

First firearm purchase and first time buying ammo. Bulk to me only meant "more" and "in one box"
Definitely know for next time. Only other weapon I have is the AR I bought right after the Glock....
Here's hoping I don't blow up a $500 handgun and my hand when I qual on Saturday

How is Glock going to know if you used it, unless you're dumb enough to tell them?

Shoot it up. You'll be fine.

Oh I don't think you have to worry about that my friend. Happy shooting. I think it only voids the warranty because bulk ammo causes a little more wear and tear on the action. I would definitely clean it well after each extended use. And please for the love of Pete make sure you don't have one chambered when you go to clean, I know a handful of good people who are dead now because Glocks are a little tricky and can sneak a round in the chamber with out you being aware. Doesn't make sense but it's happened to more than two people I know of. Crazy

That is odd. I don't see where it would be any different than other safety-less pistols. I have glocks and 2 S&W handguns and both have similar actions / compound triggers.. That's crazy
My grandfather passed cleaning a gun.

If the ammo you purchased was not advertised as remanufactured then you have a clear case with Cabela's, otherwise you are stuck with it. As for Glock's warranty, honestly I don't know how they could prove failure due to you using remanufactured ammo.

As simple as a Glock is to break down I don't know why anyone would clean it not broken completely down.
I also don't understand how people get shot cleaning a gun.
1. Drop magazine
2. pull slide back
How hard is that to remember?

Take it back and Cabelas should be good to you about it. I've never had a problem with returns with them.

What brand did you purchase?

Ultramax
I called the store and customer service rep offered no solution. Called corporate customer service, and the rep suggested I take them to local law enforcement, have them destroy the ammo, provide me with a letter stating that they did so, and then Cabela's will *possibly* give me a gift card....
Just finished giving both guns their initial cleaning and lubing. Bout to take em for a spin. If I get through the first box without a Kaboom then I'll just suck it up and learn from my mistake. They really should put it on the outer box though. Second weapon is a Sig M400 btw. Came with Magpul grip, buttstock, handguard, a P-Mag, and MBUS

This. If you didn't overlook something on the outerbox take it right back to the store and be firm on your position. They may not take the ammo back but they'll give you a refund at least in cabela's bucks. Remind them of all of the other big chain outdoor stores that are popping up everywhere. Works every time for me.
