No. German/Swedish family of giants. My mother is a Neuro-Oncologist and my father is a hospital administrator. No male on either side of my family is bald or shorter than 6' 3" and everyone is blonde to sandy blonde. The most liberal person in my family is my father who's a libertarian. My great grandparents were Bund members. I'm pretty much the complete opposite of everything you've said and I'm pretty adept at spotting Nazis.

I didn't say anything about saving humanity. I said that our best chance at a LOGICAL world ended at Stalingrad. Infinite difference. And I would expect you to recognize this.

I deny that I'm a NAZI. (Beyond just my not being a German worker). But I'll stand by what I said. People like you are evidence that we have declined the notion of a logical world. We want one based on emotion. This is clear. Whether you, Bill Clinton, the producers at NPR, NBC, and PBS, can accept it, or not, you have chosen a body of "philosophy" based on feeling. Feeling and not logic. Feeling in lieu of it. It's what makes liberals liberals. It's what makes y'all y'all.

That y'all are apparently the majority in America now is not surprising. No one WANTS to accept fact and/or truth. It's almost always cold, hard, and brutal. It makes for a for more enjoyable and less stressful life to focus on what ought to be and ardently pretend it's the way things could be. Even ardently believe it's the way things are. (As if when and if ultimate truth reveals itself it will be shown that "GOD" was LOVE). And when you've tons of others so inclined you can fortify yourself within those circles and reaffirm one another's delusions. This is why academia and the media and the bar are so full of shite -er uh- liberals. You can meet at the same bars and parties and keep your bullshite popular and pertinent.

It's nothing to do with intelligence. Or knowledge. The smarter the man the better his imagination perhaps. Beyond this the "intellectual" and the self-appointed "enlightened" are nothing more than groups who've chosen an imagined reality and spend a lot of mental energy promoting it.
