No it doesn't.

There isn't an amount of money that can make up for being a distant 2nd to football with an unrealistic and unreasonable expectation attached to the pay scale.

There is a tourney, a coach at a basketball first school like Marquette has just as much (more so historically) chance to win a natty as a program like bama.

This is why you don't see coaches jumping job wise around unless they are up and comers, moving to stay ahead of being fired, or moving to a destination job (which bama is not).

Honest question ( and I haven't looked thru this thread to see if it has already been asked). Do y'all think Bama would have played like this had Grant not been fired?
