Certainly the SEC as a whole needs to change the perception that elite recruits only play for UK, the ACC, Big 10, Big 12 ect.
A quick way to do that is for the conference as a whole to get more elite, superstar coaches with national recognition like Calipari, Donnavon and Pearl.
Alabama hiring Howland would be a step in the right direction.

At the moment, it's clear Auburn basketball has more to offer...both to fans and recruits. I too believe the potential at both schools is equal.
Next year's season tickets will almost certainly be sold out. Our facilities are better along with the dorms and wellness kitchen—all within a couple minutes walk. The incoming class adds to it as well.
Bama's decision on its new coach will be interesting...
