What are your plans for the shortest day of the year?

Coffee this morning. Watching some Travel Channel. I might Ebay a jacket since my friends said I look like a stop sign when I wear it. I'm always thankful for friends who are honest.

What kind of Jacket is it?
I ran this a.m. then undid that with donuts. My wife is working and my parents have my baby . About to go visit an old friend I haven't seen in over a year and get drunk riding horses..

Mountain Hardwear softshell. I'm sticking with black, gray, and blue from here on out with colors.

Skipped church. Boys were coughing up a fit and raining outside. Perfect day for staying home.
Watching Netflix. Laziness planned from here on out.

Went to church, now working, going to buy new running shoes in a couple of hours, then taking the dog for a run.
I've been about as lazy as I've ever been fitness wise since Thanksgiving. Daylight Savings Time and the cold winter have ruined me. It's hard to get out of bed in the morning and run or go to he gym when it's freezing outside, and tough to go run in the evening when it's cold and the sun is already down. This lazy SOB is about to start hitting it hard again.

I'm at my lowest weight now in about 6 years. I feel great and energetic today.
Over the weekend I started thinking about getting a work phone. I told the boss I didn't want one in the past. I didn't want to lose my number of 13 years, and I didn't want to carry around 2 phones. I've recently come to the conclusion that I don't want my old number anymore.

The older I get the more grey stuff I buy, or olive green and other subdued colors.
That jacket would be legit on the slopes tho.

It is a perfect slope jacket. I have a lot of jackets, so I might hold on to it. I just wore it last night because I was feeling it for some reason.

I know that feeling, sometimes the swag just guides you.

I convinced myself in high school that red jackets made me look even higher after pot intake. Similar to people saying a blue shirt brings your eyes out I guess.
As far as skiing / cold weather kayaking and fishing I'd prefer red. shite might keep you alive.

You walk into a bar and everyone is wearing dark colors. Not this guy. He wants to be noticed.

My FitBit is doing amazing things. Fat people could seriously drop some pounds using it. They're too lazy to use the app to count their calories though.

In college I had a little before law enforcement class. At the beginning of class the professor started looking around the room at everyone. He asked which one of us would be most likely to be mugged or assaulted. We all just kind of sat there.
He walked up to me and snatched me by my red fleece jacket and long hair out of my seat and threw me against the chalkboard. Then he spun me around and said: "The guy wearing red is always going to draw the most attention." Then he stared me in the eyes... I was terrified. He said, "Looks like you had a rough night last night... you OK?" I was speechless and all I could do was nod my head.
I never again smoked before his class.

I run and bike with a Garmin wrist GPS, which is helpful, but nothing like having a FitBit going all day. I don't have any problem counting calories. I may try it.

Do laundry, watch TV, read a little Virginia Woolf, and that kind of lazy Sunday thing before heading back to work. These snow days we've had has me all out of whack. I can't wait for the 60 degree temps we're getting this week.
