Depends on how you want to use the TE. Henry is a perfect fit for our system, Engram has been incredibly effective for the Rebels.
To be honest the best tight end in the SEC might not make his presence felt until the season starts. Last year AJ Derby came out of nowhere to be a major factor in the Arkansas offense. There might be a kid out there waiting to have his breakout season.

I think both Engram and Henry are perfect fits for their respective systems.
In terms of sheer "talent," I'd probably place Henry and Howard in one class, and Engram in the other.
Engram is just not that big. He would be a big WR in the NFL at 6'3, 227. He has great straightline speed and is faster than most LBs and some safeties. Also, he is an incredible route runner.
Leading TEs in the SEC for 2014
Receptions
1. Steven Scheu - 39 receptions (no one has mentioned this guy)
2. Evan Engram - 38 receptions
3. Hunter Henry - 37 receptions
Receiving yards
1. Evan Engram - 662 yards
2. Steven Scheu - 525 yards (no one has mentioned this guy)
3. Hunter Henry - 513 yards
Receiving TDs
1. Steven Scheu - 5 TDs (no one has mentioned this guy)
2. Malcolm Johnson/AJ Derby/CJ Uzomah - 3 TDs
3. Evan Engram/Hunter Henry - 2 TDs
Steven Scheu is arguably the best returning TE in the SEC and he hasn't been mentioned once in this thread - second in receptions and receiving yards and first in TDs. Also, he is 6'5, 250.
Poor kid. If he had those numbers at nearly any other SEC school, we'd be all over his jock right now![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)
