Yeah because losing a playoff game is somehow equivalent to going 8-5.
One was a playoff
Other two were just losses

Im sure most will realize Bama beat themselves

Tenn can only sign 21-22 I believe so they won't be top 5.

Auburn will have a better class than LSU. It's going to be sick

Well Alabama had to go to OT to beat LSU, an average team, so maybe someone more deserving should have been there, like TCU.
Just sayin
Yeah, good point. It's not like TCU almost lost to Kansas, WVU, and OU or anything like that.

Bama will have to beat themselves in recruiting one of these years. This will probably be the year. LSU will get really lucky, and the recruiting sites will miss a Bama bump at the last second.

Sure would be nice but doubtful. Only Gumps beat themselves.

Go look at the Top ~35 on every recruiting service and you will see that LSU either leads for or is in on an unprecedented number of those elite kids. Next go to the LSU 247 site and scan down the list of targets and do some research on all of those 4/5 star kids and where they are leaning. Some (like Joyner) are not living in La, but have significant ties to La.
We have 7 now and if we take another 18...it's very possible that most or all of them could come from that list. Plug some of those guys into the 247 class calculator...but don't even add guys like Davis, Carter, and Brown who have visited or listed LSU but are long-shots. You won't get much past the 247 Top 100 before you have 18 net-adds to get to 25.
I believe that the highest ranked class of all time (on 247 points) was 2010 Florida and it was the only one to top 320 points. Any class over 300 points would be considered "elite" overall. You can get beyond that 320 mark with the options that LSU is pursuing... and has legitimate interest from right now.
If LSU gets most of the "homegrown" and public LSU leans, Bama simply wouldn't have enough options to even come close. If LSU has a good year in 2015, we may even flip a few of the guys I mentioned above. I've been following recruiting for a very long time and I've never seen anything like what is possible for LSU in 2016. It's a perfect storm of maybe the best La talent ever, many OOS kids with ties to La and very high rankings, and several positions of need which perfectly fit the available talent.
It is a possibility that the recruiting services will start dropping a bunch of these kids in an effort to keep Bama's (recruiting championship) hopes alive. That's why you should print the ranking lists now so you can see exactly what happens throughout the year. If you've been paying attention you will have already read some articles about the recruiting potential that LSU has in 2016.

All of this sounds exactly like 2014. 545, etc.
No doubt that LSU has a lot of ins with kids this early, but how often do the highly ranked recruits stick with their early favorite? This time last year USC was the favorite for Arden Key, TAMU the favorite for Kendall Sheffield, ND the favorite for Blake Barnett, etc. Chidi wasn't ranked.
Plus you have to factor in the season. Right now LSU is getting that new staff bump in recruiting, but what happens if LSU turns in another disappointing season. How many recruits are going to stick with LSU should they end up in a Music City type Bowl? I see this as a definite possibility unless the QB situation gets resolved.

Your paranoia is sad. You still have gymnastics! Oh wait...we just owned you there too. What about W Bball? We seem to be in a decline in that sport so that's a possibility.
