The same school that paid Cam Newton is calling us cheaters for a minor rules violation?

Ignoring the Cam Newton bait, this seems like a pretty ticky tacky thing to get punished for. I read this was self reported but the SEC was already aware of the violation in another thread.

The NCAA investigated two schools. Only one was hit with sanctions. I'll let you do the math as to who actually did what they're accused of.
The only thing that the NCAA found in Cam Newton case was that MSU tried to pay him and he still didn't want to go there
