What is the point in allowing a kid to sign the FAA prior to signing his NLI? Shouldn't they just sign them at the same time to avoid this? Ignore my ignorance of recruiting rules.

The FAA is a commitment from the University. Once the FAA has been signed, the prospect has secured a scholarship. That is my understanding of why it is offered.

You can't fricking read a kid's mind in the future. Get rid of that stupid FAA agreement if this dumbass rule remains
