to beat Pearl's arse twice on his way out of Tuscaloosa. Great performance by our team and were actually fun to watch.

ETA: And because that was our 16th win and his thread is anchored, here's the link to bamafan's bet: LINK

Yeah that was a fun game

Our team showed a little bit of toughness tonight. Not as soft as they have shown all season

Do we still think he gets fired? Not trying to be a dick, I honestly don't know.

That was a really good game. I'll take a sweep over Auburn any day.

It was actually a fun game to watch. Both Auburn games have been my favorites of the season. Congrats to the guys and Tony, too. Liked seeing him coach fired up. Confused as to why he hasn't done it at all throughout his whole tenure. I hope a nice win over a bad Auburn team doesn't have any of TPTB thinking twice. Roll Tide!

Those that have paid attention know that I have always been firmly in Grant's corner up until this season. The continued inconsistency from an offensive standpoint was the final straw for me personally. This team should have been in the running to finish second in the SEC and easily made the tournament, yet here we are in mid February with a 6-7 conference record.

Sweeping Auburn doesn't do anything for me. They are even more irrelevant in the college basketball world than we are and their roster is a complete train wreck. The difference is they have room for growth where I feel like we have reached a plateau with Grant. As much as I hate to say it, he's not the guy to get us to the next level.

This program needs new blood. A coach that is motivated and wants to work his way up the ladder to a destination job like Duke or Kentucky. A coach with a personality that will promote the program and get the fan base excited about the future. And we need to play a more exciting brand of basketball. An offensive oriented coach would help a lot in that regard.
