Red McCombs is one of their biggest donors and is fairly well known for being "uncomfortable" with people who have better perma-tans than him.

Here was his initial reaction to hiring Strong

McCombs didn't mention race, and was just pissed he scared Saban off.

Really of the dumbest things a booster has said in a while. "He'd make a great position coach" after the guy had made L'ville into a top 15 level program.
