It sounds nice, but he would have to sell parents that he will look after their son and steer him on the right path for as long as he is at the school. I think that's a huge part of recruiting.

ETA: Not saying he couldn't do that by any means. Just saying having a possible NFL HOFer of staff doesn't mean he would be an ace recruiter.

True dat, there is a bunch of wantto in that job. Travel down the back roads, parent, kids, etc, etc.

But have Hines in that slot would attract the hell out of me if I were a WR. Plus he is personable as hell. If he wants it, I think he would do a helluva job.
