i think we forget that. after the pitching injuries i was shocked we made it conference play unscathed. then to actually compete and lead for a while after was icing on the cake. By the time we got to the LSU series, we forgot that we weren't expecting any of this.
now that doesn't excuse the errors and stranded runners. it's crazy to think what it would have just cutting those in half from conference play on.
