Certainly not outside the realm of possibility... I mean nothing will surprise me now

Greg Eisworth - #11 Junior QB FS - South Grand Prairie High School, TX
We offered this 2016 qb who is a beast
He and his friend from inside the district.
Chris Daniels - #7 Junior DE - Trinity High School, TX
We have recently offered these two recruits. And that QB looks to be a stud.
I want Shea Badly.. But i also dont want another last minute flip that sets us back

Does this look close on potential class breakdown:
1 QB
2 RB
4 WR
1-2 TE(depending on Engram)
5-6 OL(at least 2 EE's)
3 DE
2 DT
4 LB
4 DB's
That's 27, which if the draft hits us as hard as most believe, we should have room for.

3 DE
For 2016, unless Fadol Brown leaves early, we'll have: MH, Youngblood, Fadol, Victor Evans, and Rasool Clemons. And maybe Gmac & Robinson (they might end up as DTs). I think we'll only need one good speed rusher and one SDE. Maybe 3 DTs -- one EE (Chris Williams) and 2 freshmen.
If Cooley is signed as a TT (giving us 2, with Angel), then I don't see why we'd need more than 3 WRs.
6 OL minimum, with 2 Juco's, including a competent juco center. I wish we'd taken one of these this year and let him redshirt.
I think we'll take 2-3 CBs and 3 safeties (one of whom will be for husky). So my prediction is:
1 QB
2 RB
3 WR
2 TE(including Cooley)
6 OL(including 2 Juco)
2 DE
3 DT
4 LB (including 2 juco)
3 CB
3 S
Total: 29

That would be a damn good haul. We really should have stocked up on OL this year. Sam Madden, Weathersby, Rankin, Chidi, Wommack

I can agree with that. Would love Simmons and Gooden.

I said 4 and that was including Cooley. Still think we are gonna have some tough decisions to make if we only take 3.

I would be good with 6, but depending on the situation and who develops, I am not sure we need 2 JUCOs. If Conyers, Patterson and Taylor play well, and one of the other guys(Johnson, Morris, Bouldin, Sims, etc.) develops I think we will be fine. This is also assuming one of the O linemen we bring in(looking at you Willie) will come in and be able to play right away.

We probably aren't getting Gooden. Simmons is a stud though

This recruiting thread is amazing.
OP.
Also this current class hath giveth me a boner.

I think we still need two JUCO OT's. Following next year we lose Cooper and certainly Tunsil. Michael Howard and Given probably won't be ready to start yet on that level which pretty much leaves Conyers, Putman, and D. Johnson who I'm not sure will ever contribute. Maybe Bouldin could play outside.
We definitely will have the playing time pitch to whoever we go after.

Yes we'll need several juco/EE kids next year.

Kid is really like 220 lbs, not near the level of WR as Metcalf, Duncan etc.....I want but I want as a future NFL LB. Kid is brutal/physical and already named Ole Miss as leader.

According to 247 he named us his leader back in August.

Nero is like Lewis. He likes attention.
