Absolutely hate to lose Martin, but espn blowing up with mizzou saying this is the best class we have ever had. Can't link on my phone but have seen a few writers say if there were an open competition, they think Lock would beat Mauk for the job. Could easily see 2-5 guys start this year from this class.

Sucks to lose Martin, but he's a JUCO guy anyway so it doesn't change too much.

Man, we should have just took Coleman when he wanted to sign. Slow playing him burned us. He signed with ISU.

I love the Mizzou commercial with the ESPN announcers before and after the Beckner announcement. It will definitely help with further recruiting.
Even though I think ESPN is weak at rating players, I think it means to the kids more to be ranked higher there. That is a mighty bright spotlight. We're now ranked 18 at ESPN #22 at 247 and #26 at rivals.

Anyone think there will be any "Charles Harris'" in this class now that we missed on Martin and Coleman? In other words, guys kept in the back pocket in case someone flipped away from us? Or are they done?

Cusumano says Beckner is there grade wise but not quite there test wise. Close but not quite there. Has 3 more shots at it.

That's the worst part of recruiting. He wanted to be a Tiger, but we had him in a holding pattern and we lost. Sad.

What sux about Coleman is putting him behind that asshat Robinson. He was our sleeper, speed rush next to Beckners power.

Exactly. I hate losing him more than Robinson or Hawkins.

I don't know about starting, but TBJ, Frazier, the 2 JUCO OTs and at least 2 of the WRs should figure into the rotation. Could be a couple others that suprise and get some action as well.
