Let's say you post from an iPad. I type in bird GIFs on Google and hit enter. On the page which pops up I select "images" on the toolbar toward the top of the page and I can scroll through each bird GIF image individually.

When I find one I want to use I click on the "view image" icon toward the bottom of the image and the page reloads to that image.

I go to the address bar at the very top of the page and click on it, hitting "select all" which highlights the entire address. Then I hit "copy."

Next I go to my message box on tRant where I want the gif inserted and click on the "img" icon to the right of the message box which brings up the image box within the message box. Within the img box I click in it and then hit "paste", which pastes the gif address within the image box. I then hit the "Preview" button below the message box and the gif appears in my message box. Finally, hit the "Submit" button below the message box to actually post the gif. It should look like this:

You can also open an account such as photobucket, load the gif on to the account, following the instructions, copy the address and then paste the gif from your photobucket account into your message box on tRant using the "img" icon I have described above but this isn't necessary to post a gif.

That was entirely too informative and helpful. You should be ashamed of yourself, Litigator

Thanks a mil Litigator! I did all that and ran this test and the image is frozen. I'll figure it out.
