No, he still would have been the shameful, gutless, cowardly disgrace that he was....HE turned down Brees for Culpepper. There was no, nor would there have been a "had the Dolphins signed Brees" scenario; because to Saban, Brees was damaged goods. The Dolphins didn't make that brilliant move, the almighty saban did. And he ended up notifying his coaches that he was quitting on the INTERCOM for Chrissake. What a bastion of integrity, honesty and resolve....
