What's your boards thoughts on Martin and the job he's done at Carolina so far? Is he the coach everyone believed him to be when he left K-State?
Does he eventually turn around Carolina before administration gets impatient? I love watching his fire on the sideline.

I have mixed feelings about him.
Most were holding judgement about him until this season. He didn't exactly come into an ideal situation, so he would need time to get things back on track.
There have been some bright spots so far this season, but to me, this team has been very disappointing. It looked like we had moved on from being the usual floundering underachievers until recent weeks. We just can't seem to do well in SEC play. I don't know where the fire went that we exhibited against OK State and Iowa State, but I want it back. Frank has to keep these guys from making stupid mistakes and missing easy shots. I'm just not seeing it right now, and it's alarming.
Others may feel differently, but things need to turn around with the intensity of our program in a positive direction, and I'm not seeing much evidence of that at this point.

This years team is far more bearable to watch than his first two years. They are young for the most part too. Next year he should be above .500 in conference play. These kids he has now show a lot of promise IMO. More since 2009 or 2010 that I can think of.

Preseason I wanted to go .500 in the sec and make the NIT. I think we can still do that.
The team has been disappointing after the Iowa state victory though

We won 14 games last year. We've won 10 so far with about 14 games left. I just wanted improvement. Last year was his first decent recruiting class. Martin had nothing, all the "good" players left when Horn was fired. Martin has been building for 2 years.
If we win more than 14 games, I'm happy. Next year we will have some really good recruits coming in who can help, and our young guys we're leaning on now will have more experience.
We'll be competing in the NCAA's soon enough if we keep recruiting like this year. If Thornwell stays, next year will be the 1st year we've ever had two 5 Star guys on the squad in several decades. We are getting closer, Martin can get us there.

I'm fine with him and I think he's leading the program in the right direction. The fanbase needs to just give him time after the shite Horn put us through. You saw how good this team could be in non-conference play after the Charleston Tourney which was a formidable group.
Right now it's a completely different basketball team, but with what we have coming in next year (Dozier/Silva) & what we're keeping especially the guys that haven't played a lot due to injury (Blanton/Sheppard) this team oughta be pretty good in 15-16.
You can tell the talent and development is there, hell the core of the team are only Sophomores. Still plenty of time to grow & develop, CFM will have us in the NCAA's when it's all said in done imo.

Cool thanks for the insight guys I sit down when I don't have much going on and try to watch other conference games outside of Auburn so this definitely helps me as I look around the SEC

Yes ... he is the perfect coach for us and he will get this thing on the right track over the course of the next 16 months.
I'm absolutely sure of it.

I am 100% behind Frank.
He will get it done here. Mind you, we only have 1 contributing senior this year. Our junior class has role players, but that was the best he could do with such little time that class. They will prove valuable though next year. I expect us to compete realistically in both the SEC and NCAA's next year. Our Soph and incoming freshmen will lead us back to the tournament.
In a related note, i think the SEC in general is on the upswing.
