I was going to say "Punt Bama Punt" but we were only up 16-0 in the 3rd and the two blocked punts were just weird
2010 Auburn was an epic collapse....yeah....that would be it.

1994 Kentucky game at home. Blow a 68-37 lead with approx. 15:00 left and lose 99-95. Sort of the gold standard for blowing games.

That one was brutal.

So many to pick from, so here are a few nominees:

1. 2012 NFCCG. Falcons blow 17-0 lead at home.
2. 2012 SECCG. UGA led Alabama 21-10 and then the defense forgot that tackling is kind of important, leading to the most depressing sports loss of my lifetime.
3. 1996 World Series. Braves absolutely massacre Yankees in the first two games in Yankee Stadium, proceed to lose the next three in Atlanta, and were upset 4 games to 2.
4. 2010 Divisional Round. 13-3 Falcons lose by four touchdowns at home to the 6 seed Packers. Not sure if this is a collapse, a disaster, or a team not showing up.

Packers won the SB that year. They weren't your ordinary 6 seed.

For me, Memphis blowing the national championship game against Kansas in 2008. Forget the missed free throws, all they had to do was take a foul at mid court with about 5 seconds left and the game is over.

The last 2 minutes of the 2012 and 2014 bama games.

2012: After giving up 1 first down and 40 yards total offense in the entire second half to bama, we play matador defense in the final minute with a 17-14 lead.
Of course had Miles gone for the first down from the bama 28, we kneel down 3 times. Or, if Alleman makes the FG, it's 20-14 and we kick off, and more time runs off.
It didn't help that Chavis played some kind of freak prevent, and also LSU couldn't tackle anyone IN BOUNDS.

2014: Sooo many what-ifs. What if we pick up Yeldon's fumble from the bama 4 and walk in instead of falling on it? It's 17-10 instead of 13-10.
What if the ref had called offsetting UC penalties if he had seen the whole play and saw the bama player not letting go of the LSU player, causing Vadal Alexander to push him off?

And, most importantly, if Miles had thrown a challenge flag on Cooper's trapped 'catch' on the tying FG drive (even the announcers were mystified that he didn't), it would have been game over. The replay showed the ball moving..

Of course it helped that Saban had the bama offense SCREEEEEEEEEEEEAM up to the line to snap the ball before Miles had a chance to throw the challenge flag. He knew it may have been incomplete.

It shouldn't have come to that. Once again, Chavis 2 minute defense was astonishingly awful.
After giving up 0 passing yards and 65 yards of offense the entire second half to Bama (see 2012), Chavis did it again.

As an LSU fan, we are in the middle of the most epic collapse. I will let you know how it turns out in a couple years or so.

I remember watching that game and honestly I thought LSU should have punted and try to pin Alabama deep instead of trying a FG on the edge of Alleman's range. Maybe it would have worked, and maybe not.

I honestly never thought of that VADawg, but that is a GREAT point. Of course, hindsight...

LSU @ Auburn 1993 - literally, LSU could have kneeled every play on offense the entire fourth quarter and won that game. That was a terrible LSU team and great Auburn team; had a 28-game (I think) unbeaten streak.

The ULM game for Arkansas. It was like watching a slow motion car crash.

I tip my hat to the Aggies in this contest though... surviving the 2011 season must have been sheer hell.
