I had a blast interacting with Alabama fans before the game and I hung out with old timers as well as students. Bourbon Street was awesome both days I was there and I didn't see one instance where things got nasty. People really seemed to enjoy seeing a different perspective.
The interesting thing was that there seemed to be a whole more respect for Ohio State from the LSU, Auburn and Mississippi fans I met the day after the game.

Right. We don't usually call that "respect", but I'm glad you enjoyed it and hope you made them clean up when it was done.
