That brings up another interesting point. In the past you had what, almost a month off before the game. I would think having the games closer together will help keep offenses in the groove instead of starting out looking rusty as they have in the past.

OSU did...but OSU also had a pretty efficient offense that kept Oregon off the field while scoring points.

We are at a point where a defense can't carry a team like they used to be able to. You have to score points in order to keep the pressure off the defense.
