My point about FSU's 1993 offense had nothing to do with our current production- which is solid by any definition. Just that CMR didn't bring in an apprentice. He brought in someone very much his peer and might see ways to attack defenses that we haven't seen in 14 yrs because we've operated in a CMR offensive vacuum. Anyone who thinks that Shotty will simply learn CMR's playbook and not add wrinkles are help gameplan has rocks in they head. We needed a something to re-energize and I think our current staff will do just that.

Well, the biggest knock on schotty is that he doesn't do great X's and os so I doubt you'll see to much of a difference.

Bobo added plenty of wrinkles over the years. Our offense was very different from 2008 to 2013. I think the Mark Richt offensive vacuum idea is greatly overplayed by people who want change just for the sake of it.
