Also, "it's not even close" is the dumbest fricking phrase on the internet, especially when making an opinion on something. In this case it's borderline retarded because the two quarterbacks are definitely close in talent level. That's pretty clear, bias aside.

The film available doesn't lie. Eason CLEARLY, ABSOLUTELY, NO frickING DOUBT ABOUT IT, has the better arm strength. He makes throws in his film that some experienced college QB's struggle with. If you watch the Patterson kid, I can count multiple times where he under throws his WR targets. Eason also shows the ability to lead his receivers and has better accuracy when trying to throw in between 2 defenders compared to Patterson. Not saying the kid is a bad QB. He's a very good QB. He's no Eason.

Eason is currently in a complex high school offense and is making more than one read most of the time which is exactly what we're looking for in a prospect.

Ok... This by itself is another reason why Eason is a better prospect. Again, not saying Patterson is a bad prospect... But he's sure as hell not #1. Eason is much better IMO.

Eason makes good decisions quickly. The dude is decisive and once he makes his decision the ball is on the way. I can't remember seeing a quicker release. Eason's stroke is both compact and powerful. I hope we see him in 2016 and get three good years.

Bailey Hockman is also an incredible talent possessing great movement in the pocket. I hope we land him.

I love Richt's offensive philosophy. Dual threats and spread offenses aren't my cup of tea.

And that's not debatable. He does. That's just not my point. Arm strength isn't everything when evaluating a qb. Patterson has very good arm strength. Eason has great arm strength. Patterson is very good at creating plays from nothing, Eason isn't as much as of a creative quarterback. Patterson shows he doesn't lose much when throwing on the run or from awkward angles. Eason shows incredible touch and poise in the pocket.

So do you see where I'm getting at? To say Eason is the better prospect is fine. No issues with that because it probably is true. But to say it isn't close is pretty foolish.
