It could be worse. It could be girls.

I have girls. They're awesome. Can't imagine it any other way. YMMV

I've got one of each. My youngest, age 6, is all boy. He breaks shite, is loud, and is generally happy all of the time.

The eldest, daughter, is generally happy but has friends that are already catty and occasionally mean to the other girls who aren't like them.

I'm seeing the genesis of why so many women are miserable, insecure, catty shells of humans. They do it to each other. I will do my damnedest to make sure my daughter isn't this way. She will understand the difference betwixt a 4-3 and 3-4 and will be able to enjoy a moment for what it is without over analyzing it for things that just aren't there.

Lastly, we are fortunate in life so I will do my best that my kids don't become entitled little dicks.

Kid sleepovers are great fun, with the exception of the early risers.
