As far as Ogletree tweeting about the playbook, that was one player. Not multiple players over multiple years.
Grantham bringing in NFL style defense was the whole schtick, that was the whole point. It was determined that we'd have good years and bad years. 2013 was a bad year, a rebuilding year.
If Grantham was still our coach, you would agree with me.
But because he left for more money, you want to act like a prissy hurt bitch ex girlfriend.

Grantham consistently put out a good pass rush, and was not a terrible defensive coordinator. The thing that was so frustrating about Grantham was the lack of being prepared for hurry up offenses (I know it's tough, but the 1st game of the season against Clemson was inexcusable), not being ready coming out of timeouts or change of possessions, struggles in 3rd and long situations, and not being told to bat the ball down against Auburn. I don't think Grantham is a bad DC, but I do think he underperformed a little with the talent we had and Pruitt is an upgrade. I think he is a pretty decent recruiter though so I wouldn't mind him taking players away from Auburn and Bama.

You don't understand that we looked lost and out of position so many times in 2012 along with every other year. No one is mentioning 2013. We all knew the 2013 defense wasn't going to be great, but you would at least think we would get the basics of lining up and getting the play in. That is pee wee football shite right there. HOW CAN YOU BE A COLLEGE DC AND NOT BE ABLE TO HAVE YOUR PLAYERS LINE UP RIGHT AND GET THE DAMN PLAY IN?! This is where everyone had it with him. 3 years and you're still making day 1 mistakes. I can understand just get exploited by a very good football team every now and then, no one is perfect. In 2012, you had 10 players in or going to be drafted in the NFL on that D. How can you make day 1 mistakes 2 years into installing a new D with upperclassmen all over the field?
