CTG didn't tear anybody's ACL in '13, but I can sure as shite hang the defense giving up 353+ yards on the ground when Alabama's RBs absolutely went Duke lacrosse team on that overrated, fat frick in the '12 SECCG. Not properly substituting on the DL rotation in the second half of the same game? That's on him, too.

In what was unquestionably the most important game in UGA football history since 1980, his defensive genius cost us the victory. Don't let Bama's run game eviscerate the defense and it doesn't matter WTF Murray does with the ball with 5 sec left on the clock.

Granham's broken arse defense cost us a national championship.

Defend.

In 2012, LSU was up on Bama. No one was really sure how good McCarron was. But when it mattered, McCarron's final drive to win that game and clinch the West was beautiful. He looked like an NFL quarterback.

Fast forward a few weeks, Bama is in the championship game, down a bunch of points in the second half, Grantham and Richt didn't want a replay of the AJ McCarron show.

We had held Yeldon and what's-his-fat-arse-oh-yeah-lacy to minimal production for the entire game, so Grantham made a one-position sub to keep McCarron from repeating the dramatic comeback.

Saban made the adjustment, great blocking (and no holding calls) and yeldon ran all over us for a number of drives.

At that point, it was a chess game. As soon as Grantham would stack the box or a safety peek at the qb, Grantham feared the play action pass, as he should have.

The show that Murray put on at the end was the same show Grantham's defense was preventing for most of the 2nd half from McCarron.

There were alot of subtleties in that game. To dumb it down to "Granthams fat he fat he defense bad run alabama fast fail fat Grantham" is just fricking stupid.
