I honestly believe that Creed did more to destroy Christian Rock than any other influence. The lead singer of that band really poisoned the well with his shitty off-stage behavior while trying to put forth a Christian image

So I was thinking about this driving tonight and needtobreathe came on alt nation. While creed and Amy grant are dirtbags, they opened the door for some real legit crossover bands (depending on how you feel about them)

Needtobreathe, lifehouse, switchfoot, Sufjan Stevens, mat Kearney, Flyleaf, and David Crowder Band all met some mainstream success after that.

Skillet and Red has given Christian music a bit of a foothold in their respective genres. Switchfoot has been good. A numbers of others that you listed as well.

Almost forgot to comment on Flyleaf. Anyone listen to them since Lacey moved on? I enjoyed their stuff with Lacey, but I haven't listened to them since the change.
