If Bloomgren was just looking for a raise, couldn't his agent just leak it?
And really...if Bloomgren is worth the money wouldn't Stanford have ponied up more by now?
I don't really think it matters in the long run. The offense won't change much while Richt is the head coach and I'm good with that. I like watching Georgia play offense.

Honestly, I think the fact that Gentry keeps mentioning Kitchens from the Cardinals leads me to think he might end up being the guy. He did the same thing with Pruitt during the DC search and he was the only one saying anything about Pruitt.

I wasn't saying he was looking for more $$ but if your name gets rumored around for jobs then most ADs would go and offer more $$ to squash that notion. A la with what we basically did with Pruitt, his name was all over LSU and TA&Ms D openings but we handed him more $$ to make sure he has no reason to leave. I feel like that's what happened with us a few years ago. Some guys think of $$ and that the grass is greener on the other side. Just my opinion as I have no evidence of this except what gets put out there.
