1. Bielema- inherited a mess, increased win total by 4 in year 2 including convincing bowl victory over Texas. Recruiting classes strong. Program trending up.
2. Jones- increased win total by 2 games in year 2 and also a convincing bowl win. Recruiting great, lot of young talent. Program trending up.
3. Malzahn- had a great first year with Chiz's recruits but win total fell by 4 in year 2. Still doesn't have a bowl win as a head coach. Got desperate and hired Boom but his offense has been figured out so it doesn't matter. Program trending down.
4. Stoops- keeping UK fans interested until midnight madness so success I guess.

They won 2 sec games and lost a few games by only a little therefore they're gonna be the west frontrunners next year

Ark was the same team that started the year in a 42-21 loss to AU than they were at the end of the year. People want claim they became a good team, but their two shutouts at the end of the year were against teams that were reeling. Then they play the worst TX in the last 25 years. Until they find a QB they will be a .500 team
TN beat USC and overtime, and their only other decent win was against a 5-7 KY Team.
Stoops has that team heading for better days. He had the hardest job.
Malzahn- will have AU in the top 15 preseason next year.

He's doing a little more than keeping us interested until midnight madness...

Bert-Butch-Stoops all seem like the same coach, same system more or less, same ability to recruit and all had a dumpster-fire season to improve on(ie hard to get much worse). Winning 2 more games when your team won close to zero the year before is not some great accomplishment.
Gus won the SEC. But yea, they're all about the same...

Rank them how you want, but I think in the long run, Bert will prove to be the best hire.

Where do you get the idea Bert inherited a mess. He just followed a coach who was a mess. Petrino had good recruiting classes. You dumb.

1. Bielema-
correct me if I'm wrong but it's taken Bert 2 years to win as many conference games as John L. Smith did in 1 year

You people can't handle the truth

You have to understand Bert went 2-14 at Arky. A school where it's hard to win championships. He did an amazing job this year and probably should win SEC Coach of the Year. The two game stretch of shutting out LSU and Ole Miss will go down as the greatest of all time. Gus severely underachieved at a school like AU that won the sec in 2013. His rankings are appropriate....

lol you realize john l smith knew he wasn't the long term solution so basically didn't recruit the entire season right? you arent that dumb are you?

I think all Bert needs now is alittle more balanced offense. Very strong run game, but needs to upgrade the passing attack. A more balanced offense would greatly help future games when you are behind and need a comeback.
Plus, a more balanced offense would actually help control the clock even more. I know that may sound odd having a better passing attack would help clock control, but if you can keep the opposing defense on their heels not knowing what to expect, your chances drastically go up on keeping your offense on the field.

So, blame your AD. You can't even compare the mess at Arky to the mess Stoops inherited. Not even close.
