Why Isn't There An East Team in the Playoff?

I don't know...but to have heard the west talk earlier this year there should have been 4 west teams.

I don't know.
None of the west teams have played well
Doesn't really make sense
I think an East team would have represented well
Arkansas and AtM took care of business but
Neither of the Mississippi schools showed up
Although, Missouri and Georgia had their chances.

East teams also play shittier teams.
I'm not making any excuses for our dumpster fire performance against ND. We sucked. But for the res of the west, much tougher competition than the east. Hence the much tougher games.

Because the media made it sound like we were trash. An East team was never in the picture the West was and certainly not the way several 1 loss West teams were.
Hell, had an East team had perfect divisional record, beaten their West draws, and only lost the SECCG - they still wouldn't have been talked about because of the mythical 'division' bs they pushed that portrayed the SEC E as pathetic.

We had our chances and blew it. Alabama deserves to be there. Arkansas represented well. MAN, what a dominating performance for Arkansas! You guys must be thrilled to have done that to an old rival!

Go ahead and elaborate on that, using Georgia and Missouri as specific examples.
Alabama is the only thing that made the West better than the East. All the other teams were average or worse.

Take Alabama out of the equation and the West was still 8-4 against the East. yep....Alabama was the sole reason the West was better.

All the talk with Georgia is this is our year. Georgia is going to win the east and the SECCG and yet you fail. When you do get on the big stage just like Missouri and you fricking choke year after year after year.

West doesn't get to hide behind Alabama big brother this time. Yes the Tide had a great season and its fans deserve to crow, however even the Tide can't cover up the stink coming from the West this offseason.
So yes Bama fans you can still brag when talking as Bama fans, but as West fans you have to eat it like the other West schools.
So far of the non-Bama six only the Hog fans can hold their heads high.

Georgia or Mizzou could have won the west if you take Bama out of the equation. LSU comes in 3rd or 4th in the East. You BARELY beat Florida.
