All these posts remind me of 4 year old children whining because they don't get their way. Those donations to the academic side make the university better and improves the entire college experience for athletes and students alike. If you want football only, then remove the Georgia name from all uniforms and any references to the football program. The university has improved its reputation in the academic community over the last 30 years. Anyone is welcome to donate to the AA or not. We set up a scholarship in memory of my son-in-law when he passed away at age 31. We set it up through the AA, but it funds an academic scholarship for a non-revenue sport. I also make my annual Hartman Fund donation and purchase four season tickets. The Boys & Girls Club in Athens gets my tickets for several games that I don't attend.

Then I will move all mine and my kids donations to the GA Fund and they can all be Presidents Club Fellows and 3rd Pillar. At least we will get the Glory for the donations and not McGarity. Sounds like his P&L is just fine without us...
