In my college year was driving down with bunch of guys including a guy from Connecticut, who had to take leak but decided to wait until we got over this bridge. 25 minutes later and he blurts out. What the frick, how long is the GD bridge I am about to piss in my pants. It is 26 miles long. longest bridge in the world.

Seriously, You guys are really clueless about New Orleans though, there are more highly educated young people in New Orleans now that ever before, it is in a huge rebirth right now. A ton of those Ivy Educated teach for America people have stayed, they have more restaurants and shite then ever before. Since Katrina is like they traded 100k thugs for 50k ivy league grads.

Mardi Gras parades and Bourbon street are not all New Orleans is about.
